We want you to be confident before you enrol in any TezCode course. This page explains exactly when and how you can get your money back. The refund windows differ by course because each course has a different length and time commitment.
1. Refund windows by course
| Course | Refund window | Window starts |
|---|---|---|
| 7-Day Python Crash Course | 3 days | Date of purchase |
| 3-Month Python Cohort | 7 days | Date of the cohort’s first live class |
| 111 Days of Python | 7 days | Date of purchase |
1.1 Why the 3-Month Cohort starts from the first class
Cohort students often enrol weeks before the batch begins. To give you a fair chance to attend live and decide whether the cohort is right for you, the 7-day clock only starts when the first live class happens — not when you paid.
2. What “unconditional” means
Within the window above, you do not need to provide:
- A reason for the refund.
- Proof that you tried the course.
- Evidence of dissatisfaction.
Simply email us within the window with your registered email and order ID, and we’ll initiate the refund.
3. After the refund window
Once the window closes, payments are non-refundable, including in cases where you stop attending, change your mind, or are unable to complete the course due to personal circumstances. This is necessary because the instructor commits time, materials, and seat allocation to every paid student.
4. How to request a refund
Send an email to tejas@tezcode.info with:
- Subject:
Refund request — [Your name] - The course you enrolled in (7-Day, 3-Month, or 111 Days).
- The email address used at sign-up.
- The Razorpay payment ID or order ID from your confirmation email.
You can also message +91 6361125087on WhatsApp; we’ll still need the details above to process the refund.
5. How long refunds take
- Approval: We confirm receipt of your request within 1 business day.
- Initiation: Once approved, we initiate the refund with Razorpay within 2 business days.
- Settlement: Razorpay typically settles refunds to your card / bank / UPI within 5–10 business days. International cards may take slightly longer depending on the issuing bank.
Refunds always return to the original payment method used at checkout. We cannot redirect a refund to a different card, account, or UPI ID.
6. Partial refunds and exceptions
We do not offer partial refunds. A refund request within the window will refund the full amount paid; a request outside the window will not be refunded at all.
In rare cases where a course is materially modified or cancelled by TezCode (for example, the instructor is unable to deliver the cohort), we will issue a full refund regardless of the window, or offer to transfer you to a future cohort — your choice.
7. Currency and conversion
Refunds are issued in the same currency you paid in. If your card’s issuing bank converted the original payment, the refund amount in your bank statement may differ slightly from the charge due to exchange-rate movements between the two dates. This is set by your bank and is outside our control.
8. Disputes
We encourage you to email us first so we can resolve any issue directly. If we cannot resolve it, you may file a chargeback with your card issuer or escalate under the dispute mechanisms described in our Terms & Conditions, governed by Indian law and the courts at Belagavi, Karnataka.
